The night sky was a blanket of stars as we stepped out onto the patio, walking towards the hot tub. Darren, my best friend, looked at me with a mischievous grin. We’d been best friends since we were kids, but over the years, things had started to change. The once innocent friendship had slowly evolved into something more. We both knew it, but neither of us had the courage to admit it. Until tonight.
