He was checking me out the entire time I was in the fast food restaurant. I was waiting for my food, receipt in hand, arms folded. I was just fucking hungry and didn’t want to be bothered. He was still staring and so I made eye contact and smiled briefly before turning my attention back to the pickup counter.
The worker announced a number and I watched as he brushed past the group of people waiting for their food. He got his food, and left. I half expected him to say something to me, he was staring so much. After getting my food I walked to the bus stop, sat down and started eating. Stuffing crispy french fries in my mouth when a really nice vehicle pulled up.
He rolled the window down and I almost laughed. It was the same guy from the restaurant staring me down. “Need a ride?” he asked. I shook my head. “Ok, pretty hot out today, just thought I would offer.” He rolled his window up and drove off. I continued stuffing my face, now taking a huge bite from my cheeseburger and then more fries.
