My darling sub was kneeling on the cold floor, exactly where I told him to wait. I had added a little touch for the holiday season…two tiny silver bells attached near the buckle. Every small movement he made gave a soft, delightful jingle. Ting. Ting. It was the sound of my ownership.
He kept his head bowed and his body tense. He knew the rules. I walked around him slowly as my heels clicked on the hardwood. I didn’t need rope tonight, I needed presentation. “Look up, Darling,” I commanded. His eyes met mine.
Holiday Sub
I knelt behind him. Starting at his collarbone, I began to wrap him in red velvet ribbon. Tightly around his chest, crisscrossing it down his back and around his biceps. It wasn’t meant to secure him completely, only to restrain his movements and draw attention to the sleek lines of his muscles. The red velvet was a sharp contrast against his pale skin.
When I was finished, I stepped back. He looked magnificent. A masterpiece wrapped for display. A gift waiting patiently by the tree. “I asked for patience this year,” I said, my voice low and serious. “Did you remember how to wait?” He didn’t speak, he just gave a deep nod. “Good. Because you are going to wait a little longer.”
I picked up the leather paddle from my desk. It was heavy, dark, and simple. Not a festive colour, but it held the spirit of Christmas perfectly. It was the spirit of giving and receiving. I instructed him to place his hands flat on the floor and arch his back. He obeyed at once, offering himself to me without question.
The first strike was a quick crack that broke the silence of the room. He gasped, but the sound was trapped, muffled by the tension in his body. Thwack. The red ribbon held him tight as his muscles jumped against the sting. I hit him again, counting the strokes as if I were counting down to midnight. Ten strokes. Twenty. Each one leaving a precise line across his back. They looked just like beautiful, temporary candy cane stripes. Yum.
