Mommy decided she was going to take her baby shopping and running errands. First, we went to the grocery store. Mommy put you in the cart, but you started to misbehave. Every aisle we went to, you tried to sneak things into the cart that only you wanted. ‘’No! You know mommy doesn’t allow her baby too much sugar and junk! Put that back!’’ I said, placing the items back on the shelf. You still managed to sneak a few items by, and Mommy unfortunately didn’t notice.
Mommy Said No
Then, came checkout time. You started throwing a tantrum in the lineup because you wanted lollipops and pinwheels while mommy was waiting to check out. Even though mommy told you repeatedly no, you still persisted. And mommy heard your say a swear underneath your breath. You even stole a lollipop and put in your pants pocket while no one was looking.
Then, when we finished grocery shopping, you didn’t want to help mommy load her groceries into the car. Instead, you started to complain that you still wanted that colored pinwheel at the checkout. Mommy told you no a third time and had to do everything by herself: finish loading up the car, push the car back and buckle you in.
As Mommy was driving the both of you home, she noticed you were more quiet than usual. She looked in her rear view and noticed you were eating the lollipop you had stolen at the store. She slammed on the breaks and the lollipop went flying out of your mouth, sticking itself to the back of mommy’s headrest. ‘’Where did you get that?!’’ Mommy said. ‘’Nowhere Mommy’’ you answered, as you tried to grab and hide the lollipop.
Mommy continue to stare at you in her rear view mirror with her pretty eyes angrily gazing upon you. As we approached our home drive way you started: ‘’Mommy I’m sorry! No, Mommy please, I’m sorry!” Mommy parked the car and got out, and before she could touch a single grocery bag, before she could even open the garage, before she could kick her shoes off and check her answering machine, she grabbed you, and brought you inside the house as you pleaded and cried. But it was too late, Mommy was going to punish her naughty boy. Put him over her knee and punish him for misbehaving all morning long!
