I was nervous but had made up my mind, I was going to tell Alex how I felt. This was the time I may not get this opportunity again. I asked Alex if we could go somewhere more private to talk. Alex looked at me and agreed as he wanted to also talk to me. We went to my parent’s place as it was right next door and no one was home . We enter and went to sit in the living room. I offered Alex something to drink he asked for a rum and coke. I went and made us both a rum and coke handed Alex’s his and sat down. I was nervous but I took a deep breath and told Alex how since high school I had a huge crush on him. That the only reason I hadn’t acted on it was he was my best friend’s brother.
