As much as I tried to forget about my friend’s Dad, I just couldn’t. Deep down I knew he was feeling the same way. I’m so conflicted. I want to be respectful to everyone involved. I’ve been trying so hard to suppress my feelings. But it’s not fair to me. I want what I want. And when I want something, I won’t stop until I get it. It had already been two weeks since I saw him last.
When I got home, I heard my friend on the phone with him. So I listened. He wanted to take her to dinner on Saturday night. Her mom was out of town! This was my chance! My plan was to sneak over there late that night. The only thing I needed to figure out was the gate code. She told him she wanted to go early. Because she needed to get back home to work on a paper for school.
I Couldn’t Forget Him
As soon as she left, I started searching through her room to see if I could find the gate code written down anywhere. I was so excited to find a spare house key! But what good would it be if I couldn’t even get in the gate. Of course she didn’t have it written down anywhere. She’s probably had it memorized her entire life. I didn’t know how or if I would be able to get in. But I knew I had to try.
When I arrived, the house was dark. I punched my friend’s birthday into the keypad. The gate didn’t open. I didn’t know what to do. Unfortunately I didn’t know her parents birthdays. And I had no clue what else it could be. Right as I was about to leave, I thought of one more thing to try. My friend’s birth year. It opened! Watch for my next blog on TLC to find out what happens.
