Being in the kitchen during the holiday season is one of my favorite things. Feeding people with love brings me such joy. While my mom was the kind of person to chase everyone out of the kitchen as she cooked, I find something so incredibly sexy about sharing the kitchen with another person.
Laughing as we move around each other, it’s like a dance enhanced with warming aromas of whatever is cooking. All of the sensory things happening, from tastes to textures under my fingertips, it just gets me so hot. That’s why I’m not surprised that when Joshua asked to help me make the cookies this year, a whole batch ended up decorated in my special icing.
