This blog is dedicated to “Client T”.
On my dresser, now moved to my nightstand, is a pink leather Guess by Marciano jewelry box. In addition, I have an antique crystal Waterford dish that I put my daily jewelry in. Both were gifted to me by relatives.
Now, it’s perfect, because Client T is only 3 inches tall. He is the perfect person to guard all my jewelry, especially my rings.
Never having been married, I do not have an engagement ring or wedding band. I do have three rings I wear daily, which Client T does a great job of guarding when he takes them off at bedtime.
However, my jewelry box is full of treasures. Having had family in the jewelry business growing up, I received a lot of very nice gifts.
First, there is a sterling silver butterfly ring that is flat, with no sharp edges Next, there is a 1-karat ruby that is shaped like a rhombus. It is set in white gold with 0.5-karat diamonds around it.

Then, there is an amazing 2-karat alexandrite ring set in yellow gold, it’s just a solitaire set alone, but did you hear me say 2-karat alexandrite? To add, There is a .50 karat double emerald ring, as in there are two .50 emeralds set opposite one another with a .50 karat diamond set in between them. Those are my four favorite rings that I do not wear daily. Although, I could always put them on for calls. Not to mention, I do also have a lot of “fashion” rings that are not “fine jewelry”.
That being said, some of the things I treasure most in my jewelry box are necklaces. First, there are my grandmother’s pearls. Then, I have two of the same necklace, one in white gold and one in yellow gold. Both necklaces have a 4-karat amethyst that is a teardrop tear-drop shape with three .50 diamonds above it. However, the thing in my jewelry box I treasure the most is an entirely solid gold necklace with four elephants. It has been custom-made in 10-karat yellow gold and weighs almost 32 grams alone. It’s spectacular.
Thank goodness I have Client T guarding all of my treasures.
