I woke up to the smell of warm milk. That’s not a figure of speech. The air itself smelled sweet and faintly plasticky, like the inside of a bottle or a nursery left out in the sun. I looked out the window from the cabin of my spacecraft and saw a galaxy full of stars, some lavender grass, and two suns. I seemed to have landed somewhere I’d never been before.
The grass came up to my knees and smelled fragrant. It didn’t bend when I stepped through it; it just parted as I walked, like it knew I was coming. And then, I heard a crinkle. I looked yonder and saw a boy. He stood at the edge of the treeline, barefoot, and wearing a diaper so thick it changed the shape of his shadow. This boy was fully grown, the way I was, with big dark eyes that were wet at the corners. His hands twisted in front of him and the plastic of his extra thick pamper sang with every movement he made.
Alien ABDL
He said something in a language I couldn’t comprehend, then his wrist-com translated it to English. “Mama?” it repeated, in a tinny robot voice.
Every survival instinct in my voluptuous body told me to run. But instead I heard myself say, “Hey, sweetheart. Are you okay?” That’s when the treeline moved. Not the trees, the actual treeline. Boys, two dozen of them to be precise, stepped out of the shadows with the same wet eyes, the same thick diapers, and the same hopeful faces. A chorus of crinkles rose like the wind, passing through a field of plastic.
The first one took a step toward me and held out his hand. “Mama,” he said again in his alien language, like it was the only word he’d ever needed to say. My brain kept screaming to run away and go back to my ship, but my hand was already reaching for his.
